this weekend we played tag in the yard, played with the dogs (i’ve really enjoyed carter taking an interest in playing with them), and read some books.

10/9/07 playing with carter...
this is another thing i haven’t kept up with very well (journaling and probably even just the plan to play with carter every day). i know there have been days since my last entry where we have played, but it’s important to me, so i should make time for it and hopefully carve out a few seconds during the day to write about it.
last night we watched a show together, looked for words that start with the letter E to cut out, and played Boggle, Jr.
10/9/07 exercise
this is another area that’s gotten totally backburnered thanks to being super busy. i was about to change this goal to read “exercise regularly” to give myself more wiggle room, but i think i’ll leave it…counting getting up early to walk the dog before the sun comes up, since that’s some sort of exercise, needed exercise for her, and certainly an exercise in getting out of bed!
10/9/07 happiness is....
knowing that no one is grading this assignment! :-)
things have been so crazy lately that i haven’t even had time to keep up with this, but i’m getting back on the wagon, because i think it’s good to think about what’s good in the world, what brightens your day, what you have to be thankful for.
another thing that makes me happy is that even though i’ve been too busy to make time for this, it’s not been because of anything devastating or so weighty to crush me…just regular ol busy life stuff. there are always roses to stop and smell though…even if you just have two seconds.
